This gallery features a handful of selections of the outstanding iPhoneography published on the iPC Flickr group and elsewhere on the internet. The aim of the gallery is to show the very best of the wide variety of iPhone, iPad and iTouch art and photography. The artists are also asked to reveal the apps and workflows used in creating their amazing iPhone photographs and art which is detailed beneath each image. Click on any image to see more of the artist's work. For a chance to be included in this weekly gallery, please join the iPC Flickr group. Please be sure to add the process/Apps you used in order to be included in the group. Thank you.
Please add your apps used: Thank you all once again for your wonderful submissions. I am afraid it's taking me ages to publish Apps Uncovered partly because of chasing artists for the Apps. Even though artists all respond really quickly,(thank you) and I know it's a probably a real pain to do it, it is a lot of extra work for me so unfortunately I am going to be really strict and leave great works of iPhoneography out if the apps/processing aren't mentioned either in the title, description or tags so please, please add your apps :-) Thank you –Nicki–

with guest selector Aaron Davis

Every Friday, a weekly selection of images is chosen to reflect the wide variety of extraordinary creativity being produced on iPhones, iTouches and iPads. This week iPhoneographyCentral is delighted to have our long time iPhoneograpyCentral contributor and intrepid creative iPhoneographer Aaron Davis as our guest selector. Aaron has pushed the iPhone to the limits, literally both with his underwater and sky-high kite iphoneography and more recently his incredibly colourful macro iphoneography. |
"My main interest in iPhoneography at the moment is developing international collaborative projects and have found that the wonderful community at Mobitog is a great place to get these ideas off the ground. I am also a big fan of iPhoneography Central as it is all about sharing knowledge and techniques, a great place to find inspiration. Here are 12 images that inspired me this week on iPhoneography Central."

The black and white images within the television screens were achieved with Simply B&W and the hand holding the remote was painted black&white in Paintfx.
I constructed the image, in multiple steps, in Juxtaposer, where I also cropped out the original AO DLX frame from the background image.
I then ran the image though lenslight and applied the TV screen filter.
Finally the image was run through pixlromatic where the filter "Scratches" was applied and the frame "Nolariod" was added.

I met this guy at a kind of restaurant bar in Valletta, he ate alone and, as he went out for a cigarette I started talking to him. He willingly told me the story of his life, a sad one but nothing that millions of people are not experiencing. He was always alone, never married, worked his whole life and, since he retired, comes every day for lunch to this place to see familiar faces…..

Title: Day 66: Carrot Juice and Long Shadows
Artist: Steven Dempsey
Workflow: (idevice/Apps/Accessories/Story behind the image)
Have I mentioned that I love carrot juice? It's funny because when I first heard of drinking carrots as a beverage, it grossed me out.
At this time of year here in the Seattle area, the sun is still fairly low in the sky. It creeps around to my kitchen when I'm not looking and casts really long shadows everywhere, even on my glass of carrot juice.
